Studio Projects

Our studio partnered with Boulder County Open Space & Mountain Parks and City of Boulder Representatives to help redesign the trail heads that were decimated by the Marshall Fire in December 2021. My group focused on the Oreman-Roche Trailhead in Superior, CO . I designed a fence that would guide visitors through a short loop that would tell the story of the fire, those who helped fight it, and the recovery afterwards. I spend a month interviewing Rangers, local community members, and a teacher from ENVD who all were impacted by the fire so that I could tell their story on these fences.
