Intermediate Landscape Architecture Studio - Marshall Fire Trail Redesign & Interparative Education

For this semester we worked with Boulder County Open Space & Mountain Parks and City of Boulder Representatives to help redesign the trail heads that were decimated by the Marshall Fire in December, 2021. My group focused on the Oreman-Roche Trailhead in Superior, CO . I designed a fence that would guide visitors through a short loop that would tell the story of the fire, those who helped fight it, and the recovery afterwards. I spend a month interviewing Rangers, local community members, and a teacher from ENVD who were all impacted by the fire so that I could tell their story on these fences.

Foundations of Landscape Architecture (Year Two, Spring Semester) - Park Specific Design.

This is a more in depth design of one of the blocks from the master plan below. I chose to design a park space focused around play for a spectrum of ages and abilities.
